In a shocking incident, fashion designer Prathyusha Garimella dies by suicide

Hyderabad: In a shocking incident, leading fashion designer Garimella Pratyusha died by suicide at her residence in Banjara Hills on Saturday. On receiving the information, the police rushed to the spot and shifted Pratyusha's body to the Osmania General Hospital. A bottle of carbon monoxide was found in the living room. Police suspected that she died after inhaling carbon monoxide gas.

Subsequently, a case was registered as a suspicious death, police said. The reasons for her suicide need to be known. Meanwhile, Pratyusha is known as a fashion designer. Pratyusha dresses are designed for famous heroines in Bollywood and Tollywood. Pratyusha is one of the top 30 fashion designers in the country.

Of late, celebrities from across the county dying by suicide are on the rise. In the recent past, the Bengali film industry has been under the scanner after three model-turned-actresses Pallavi Dey, Bidisha De Majumder and Manjusha Niyogi died by suicide.
