TS SI written test on August 7

Hyderabad, May 26: The written for the posts of Sub-Inspector in Telangana will be held on August 7. Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) is busy making arrangements for conducting the test.
 
Also written test for constable posts will be held on August 21. Exams will be held on the same dates unless any unexpected and unavoidable situation arises.
 
This year, TSLPRB is filling up 17,291 posts, including 587 SI posts. As many as 12.1 lakh applications were received for the SI and constable posts till May 24. The officials are expecting 14 lakh applications till the last date, i.e., Thursday.
 
After a long gap, the TSLPRB took up recruitment in police department. In 2018 also, recruitment was conducted for the same number of posts. For which, about six lakh candidates applied. But this time, the number of applications is almost doubled. 
 
Initially the last date for the submitting applications was May 20. But after the government increased upper age limit by two more years, the last date was extended to May 26.
