KCR to skip meeting Modi again
Hyderabad, May 24: Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao will not be welcoming Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the airport on May 26, which clearly shows the frosty relationship the two.
The PM will be on a one-day visit to Hyderabad to attend the 20th anniversary of Indian School of Business. KCR is leaving to Bengaluru on the same day.
It should be noted here that KCR started nation-wide tour from May 20 to meet political leaders, economists and journalists. KCR has been criticizing the Central government on several issues. As per his schedule, he is leaving to Bengaluru on May 26.
But political groups stated that KCR wantonly scheduled meeting with former PM and Janata Dal leader Deve Gouda in Bengaluru since he didn’t like to welcome the PM as per protocol.
It should be noted here that earlier also KCR skipped protocol and didn’t meet PM Narendra modi, who visited Hyderabad on February 5 this year. Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav welcomed the PM on behalf of the government.
This led to verbal war between the BJP and TRS. While BJP was criticizing that KCR purposefully avoiding meeting the PM and the TRS leaders alleging that the saffron party leaders are politicizing the incident. KCR’s tour was already fixed, they added.
