YSRCP diverted my comments towards poll alliance, alleges Chandrababu

Hyderabad, May 9: TDP national president N. Chandrababu Naidu on Monday held a meeting with senior TDP leaders through a zoom conference to know their reaction on comments made by him two days ago.

The political scenario in Andhra Pradesh suddenly changed after Chandrababu gave a call for people’s movement for defeating the YSRCP government in the next Assembly elections at a meeting with party workers in Annavaram. He further said that the TDP would lead the people’s movement and asked cadre to get ready for sacrifices. Even some of the TDP leaders spoke to media stating that their party is ready for poll alliance with the Jana Sena.

During the zoom meeting, the TDP seniors reportedly suggested to Naidu that it was not right time to talk about election tie-up. Chandrababu told the TDP leaders that the YSRCP functionaries have diverted his comments towards poll alliance. “Even, my remarks at Visakhapatnam were also misquoted,” he informed them.
