Former MP Konda to launch new party??

Hyderabad, May 9: The comments of Chevella former MP Konda Vishweswar Reddy is leading to speculations that he may launch a new party.

In a recent meeting with Munugode Congress MLA Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy, Konda Vishweswar Reddy stated that huge change will take place in the next two to three months. He also opined that Telangana will develop if there are two regional parties. Supporting his opinion, he explained that States with more regional parties have developed well and local governments can take decisions immediately. At least two to three thousand crores of rupees needed to launch a new party, he added.

It should be noted here of late Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy is keeping himself aloof from Congress.

Konda said though there are huge cadre and votes in the Congress, its national leadership is weak. “I am against Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s family rule. Rajagopal Reddy also has the same opinion,” he added.

The former MP informed that 75% of people are against KCR government while people have no confidence on Congress. Condemning the reports that he is shaking hands with the Congress, Konda clarified that he didn’t met Congress leaders except Rajgopal Reddy.

Stating that both Congress and BJP have invited him into the party fold, Konda said that he is considering either to join a party that can fight against the TRS or to launch his own party.
