Chandrababu hints at poll alliance with other parties to defeat YSRCP in next polls

Annavaram, May 6: Addressing the party functionaries here on Friday, TDP national president N. Chandrababu Naidu gave a hint that his party is ready for poll alliance with other Opposition parties to defeat the YSRCP in next Assembly elections. Leaders and workers from Annavaram, Tuni, and Prathipadu constituencies have participated in the meeting.

Chandrababu stressed on the need for all political parties to join hands to fight against the YSRCP government. “People’s movement is required for Andhra Pradesh and TDP will provide leadership for the movement,” he stated.

Naidu gave a call to the TDP activists to be ready for sacrifices. He criticised the Jagan government for burdening people with taxes and unable to control atrocities against women. Political analysts have opined that views of Chandrababu and Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan are similar regarding poll tie-up. In March this year, Pawan Kalyan said that he will not allow splitting of anti-YSRCP votes in ensuing Assembly elections.
