Tirumala, May 3: A 5-year-old-boy was kidnapped in Tirumala. The incident took place on Sunday evening, which came to light late.

According to Tirumala Two Town police station CI Chandrashekar, Chavva Venkata Ramana of Kotha Indla village, Daminedu, Tirupati, along with his family came to Tirumala on Sunday. At about 5.45 pm, his son C Govardhan Royal alias Chintoo went missing.

Ramana immediately filed a complaint with the police. A case was registered. After checking CCTV camera footage, police found out that an unidentified woman along with the boy boarded an RTC bus and went to Tirupati from Tirumala at about 7.11 pm. The woman has a tonsured head.

Police requested the public to inform Tirumala One Town police station on 9440796769 or Tirumala Two Town PS on 9440796772, if anyone notices the woman with a five-year-old boy.
