Palla dares Revanth to prove his role in medical seats' scam

Hyderabad:  TPCC president Revanth Reddy on Saturday addressed a letter to Governor Tamilsai Soundarajan seeking action on the issue of the medical PG seats' scam in Telangana. Revanth said students were alleging that Palla Rajeshwar Reddy and Puwada Ajay Kumar were involved in the scam by blocking seats in private medical colleges.

Responding to his allegations, Palla Rajeshwar Reddy said, “When I do not even own a medical college how can I involve in medical seats’ scam? he questioned." He challenged Revanth Reddy to prove his involvement in the scam.

He said the Supreme Court had also ruled that if there were any remaining seats after counselling, they will come under the management quota. However, he clarified that while the second phase of counselling has been completed in the state at present, none of the remaining seats have been given to the management quota.

He said that Revanth Reddy was leveling false allegations. He further stated that MCI used to be there to oversee such matters and now NMC is functioning and he could lodge a complaint with the agency. He said the matter of medical seats should be investigated simultaneously with the NMC or any international agency.
