Setting up 16 new medical colleges in AP, says Vidadala Rajini after taking charge as health minister
The Andhra Pradesh government is taking measures for setting up 16 new medical colleges in the state, said Vidadala Rajini after taking charge as a health minister on Monday at her chamber in the Secretariat in Velagapudi amidst chanting of prayers by priests.
Speaking to the media, the minister thanked Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy for handing over responsibility of a minister. “Each parliamentary constituency will have one medical college,” she mentioned.
In an effort to make AP as ‘Arogya Andhra Pradesh,’ Rajini stated that the YSRCP government is giving highest priority to health. “AP is an icon in extending medical services free of cost to the people. CM Jagan is not comprising in quality of medical treatment provided to the poor,” she mentioned. Children of Rajini were also present when she was assuming office. Minister’s followers and YSRCP activists have gathered in large number to witness the occasion of her taking charge.
