Mumbai: Maverik director Ram Gopal Varma always hogs the limelight with his tweets and statements. He is well known for calling a spade a spade and for sarcastic comments. He does not care, who thinks what. He does not even care about the criticism that comes to him after that. A while ago, Varma posed a query to Bollywood. In fact, South Indian movies are also being released in Hindi and are making huge profits. In this context, praising our films, Verma tweeted indirectly demeaning Hindi films.

Verma has shared on Twitter the list of the biggest opening (first-day gross) movies in Bollywood. What do you think of the Hindi industry (Bollywood) thinking of Kannada dubbed film 'KGF2' and Telugu dubbed film 'Baahubali 2' as the biggest openers in the history of Hindi cinema? he asked. It remains to be seen how the Bollywood bigwigs receive his tweet though it's fact. Of late, South Indian movies especially Tollywood movies have become huge box office starting from Baabubali, Baabhubali 2, KGF (Kannada), Pushpa, RRR and now KGH2 (Kannada).
