BSV Global to set up vaccine making facility at Genome Valley: KTR
Minister for IT and Municipal Administration K. Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) has announced through Twitter that the Bharat Serums and Vaccines (BSV) Global has decided to set up its vaccine manufacturing facility at Genome Valley near Hyderabad. A delegation led by BSV Global MD Sanjiv Navangul has met KTR at latter’s office and informed him that their company would make an initial investment of Rs 200 crore for starting a vaccine making unit.
KTR has thanked Navangul for selecting the Telangana state for its global operations. He tweeted, “Thanks to the MD of BSV @SanjivSnavangul Ji. This will consolidate Hyderabad as the vaccine hub of the world.”
Several multinational companies are looking forward to invest in Hyderabad because of business-friendly decisions of the Telangana government under the leadership of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao. The Hyderabad has emerged as a hub for Information Technology and pharma sectors on the global platform.
