Stage is set for Rajinikanth's 169th movie; Aishwarya Rai may reprise heroine's role

Chennai: The recent 'Annatte' from Rajinikanth has not been able to make a big impact in Tamil Nadu. The movie was released in Telugu as 'Peddanna', but did not do as well as expected. In this context, preparations are underway for his next project.

This is Rajinikanth's 169th film in his career. The film will be directed by Nelson Dilip Kumar. He is currently working on 'Beast'  starring Vijay and Pooja Hegde is almost complete. The film is set to release worldwide on April 13.

After this, Nelson Dilip Kumar is said to be going ahead with Rajinikanth's project in May. Aishwarya Rai is likely to reprise the heroine's role in the movie while Priyanka Mohan has been taken as another heroine. The title of the film will be announced soon. The music for the film will be composed by Anirudh.
