New Delhi: Thousands of Indian students have returned from Ukraine in the wake of the Russian invasion. All of them were repatriated by the Central government with great difficulty. In the wake of this, medical students returning from Ukraine have recently knocked on the Supreme Court's door.

Students from Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Kerala have filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking an opportunity to study in the country, taking into account the situation in Ukraine. Divya Sunitaraj, who is the rector of the University of Ukraine for Indian students, and 50 students have approached the Supreme Court to this effect.
