Mumbai tops Hurun India rich list followed by Delhi, Kolkata

Hyderabad: Hurun India Wealth Report-2021 reveals that the number of rich people in India is increasing. The number of billionaires in the country has increased by 11 per cent compared to 2020, the report said. In addition, the Huron report also shares a list of the richest cities in the country. Mumbai has the highest number of billionaires in India, followed by Delhi and Kolkata.

There are 20,300 millionaires in Mumbai, 17,400 in Delhi and 10,500 in Kolkata. Hurun has compiled
the latest list of millionaires with a net worth of at least Rs 7 crore.

The number of affluent families in the country has increased by 11 per cent to 4.58 lakh by 2020. Hurun estimates that the number of billionaires in India will reach six lakh by 2026.
