Simon Katich quits as Sunrisers Hyderabad assistant coach

Chennai: Sunrisers Hyderabad suffered a major setback before the Indian Premier League (IPL). Simon Katich resigned as an assistant coach. It is learnt that he has taken the decision as he did not like the tactics followed by the franchise in the recent mega auction for IPL players.

Katich is said to be leaving because of a dispute with the management. To this end, 'The Australian' of Australia has published an article in that regard. The decision taken by Katich has now become a hot topic of discussion.

However, Kavya Maran of  Sunrisers Hyderabad has not issued any public statement whether Katich's resignation has been accepted or if he will be requested to reconsider his decision.
