"Today morning, Rahul Gandhi personally visited the circuit house of Saharanpur where we were staying. He sought our feedback on the campaign and also enquired whether any one of us participated in UP elections campaign held in the past. Shabbir Ali also informed that the Telangana Congress leaders briefed Rahul Gandhi about the latest situation in their State. We told him that K. Chandrashekar Rao was behaving like a U-Turn Chief Minister who is not giving any importance to his own words and promises," he said. Rahul Gandhi expressed his desire to tour both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh States to interact with affected farmers. He was happy to learn that the 'Rythu Sabha' held in Adilabad district recently was a huge success. He said such programmes would instill confidence among farmers who are suffering due to continued negligence by both Central and State Governments. "The AICC Vice-President was so happy with our visit and interaction that while addressing a rally in a rural area of Saharanpur, Rahul Gandhi Ji mentioned about us in his speech and said "Thank You Telangana," informed Shabbir Ali. Later, the Telangana Congress accompanied Rahul Gandhi to Darul-ul-Uloom Deoband where he was accorded a traditional welcome. He met the heads of both Old and New Darul-ul-Uloom and also interacted with the students.
