Rahul to take over as Congress chief soon: Raghuveera

Hear hear, Rahul Gandhi would be taking over as Congress president soon, PCC leader Raghuveera Reddy announced in Guntur on Friday. Raghuveera did not elaborate on the matter while he was talking to newsmen after he attended a function. Regarding the assembly election results in 5 States, the PCC president claimed that the Congress overall won more assembly seats than the Congress. He further said that the people were putting more faith in the Congress than in the BJP. Regarding the water projects taken up by the Telangana government to the detriment of the Andhra people, he said Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu would not dare question his counterpart, K. Chandrasekhar Rao. He was afraid KCR might reopen the cases against him. Therefore personal silence is better part of valour. Telangana was taking up illegal projects, which would seriously affect Andhra Pradesh, he added.
