Leaders, farmers put their faith in Pawan Kalyan

Strange but true, the people have more faith in cinema actors than their own leaders for such things as seeking Special Status for Andhra Pradesh. Stranger still, even politicians have more faith in actors than in themselves. Malladi Vishnu, former Vijayawada MLA, said at the Gandhi statue demonstration there on Thursday that Power Star Pawan Kalyan should come out with clear views on the Special Category Status for AP because he was the one leader along with Prime Miniser Narendra Modi who had given the assurances. In fact, Modi had given the assurance at Tirumala in the name of Lord Venkateswara. Guntur farmers also showed their faith in Pawan Kalyan on Thursday when they said he should come to their rescue. They wanted their lands in Undavalli and Penumaka exempted from Capital Amaravati formation. They reminded Pawan Kalyan about his promise in this regard in the past. The Guntur farmers said they were opposed to the acquisition of their lands for capital formation. They also wound not surrender their lands. The farmers have put up a massive flexi of the Power Star and hope at least that would make him open his heart to them.
