Mom pooh-poohs Priyanka Chopra's alleged suicide attempts

Bollywood-Hollywood `Baywatch' Star Priyanka Chopra had tried to commit suicide thrice during her struggling days, her former manager Prakash Jaju had said. When her boyfriend, Aseem Merchant's mother had died, Priyanka could not take it and attempted suicide. She wanted to end her life by jumping down from the Karan Apartments. Pooh-poohing Jaju's claims, Priyanka's mother Madhu said the suicide stories were bogus. She particularly faulted the building jump attempt. Madhu asked would you believe a man who has been jailed? Is such man's talk credible. On the other way round, it was she and her husband who had spared Jaju when he fell at their feet. The filmstar's managers enjoy a lot of clout because they fix things and have a major hand in the making of a star.
