Warangal by-polls: TRS candidate Dayakar leads in 1st round of counting

Hyderabad, Nov 24: At the end of the first round of counting for the Warangal Lok Sabha by-election, Telangana Rashtra Samiti candidate Pasunuri Dayakar was leading over his rivals. Dayakar polled 51,985 votes in the first round. In the Warangal East assembly segment he is leading by 4,360 votes in the first round of counting. In the Vardhannapet assembly segment, the TRS candidate is leading by 3,097 votes. There will be a total of 22 rounds of counting of votes and the preliminary result is expected to be announced by 2 pm today. A total of 23 candidates are in the fray for the Warangal Lok Sabha seat.
