Congressman Sircilla Rajaiah's daughter-in-law, 3 grandsons burnt to death in Warangal

Warangal, Nov 4: Tragedy struck Sircilla Rajaiah when his daughter-in-law Sarika and her three sons — Abhinav, 7, Ayan, 3, and Sriyan, 3, - were burnt to death when a fire broke out at their residence in Warangal, early reports said. Rajaiah is the Congress candidate to Warangal Lok Sabha constituency for the by-election. The fire is said to have broken out at about 5 am early today in the first floor of Rajaiah's two storied building. The cause of the fire is not yet known, police said. However, there are suspicions that family disputes could have caused the tragic incident. Warangal police, led by city Police Commissioner Sudheer Babu, are investigating the incident and they are said to have questioned Anil, Rajaiah's son and husband of Sarika, in connection with the incident. It may be recalled that some time back Sarika had filed a harassment case in the Begumpet police station at Hyderabad against Anil and his family members. Meanwhile, Rajaiah was seen crying inconsolably in front of the house.
