TDP suspends Sudha Rani for anti-party activities

Hyderabad, Oct 31: The Telugu Desam Party's Central Disciplinary Committee is said to have suspended its Rajya Sabha member Gundu Sudha Rani for allegedly working against the interests of the party. Sudha Rani, who hails from Warangal district, was unhappy with TDP leadership for failing to nominate her to the TDP's Telangana committee. Karimnagar's TRS MP Vinod Kumar is believed to have persuaded Sudha Rani to join his party. Sudha Rani is set to join TRS in the presence of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao in Hyderabad today.
