Warangal LS by poll: TRS candidate chosen

Hyderabad, Oct 31: Telangana chief Minister and Telangana Rashtra Samiti president K Chandrasekhar Rao late last night selected Pasunuri Dayakar Rao as the party candidate for the Warangal Lok Sabha constituency by-election. In a last minute change, KCR is said to have announced Pasunuri Dayakar Rao's name. It was earlier believed that Ravi Kumar would be nominated as the party's candidate. However, following opposition from certain groups within the party, Dayakar Rao's name was proposed. Dayakar was in-charge for the party in Wardhannapet and also headed the party's youth wing there. He is said to have prepared the Telangana Talli statue.
