Vivek to remain with Congress
Hyderabad, Oct 25: Former MP and senior Congress leader G Vivek has refuted the reports appeared in a section of media that he plans to leave Congress and join Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS). Speaking to the media today, G Vivek asserted that he would remain with Congress. It may be noted that Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao invited Vivek into TRS and asked him to contest on behalf of the party in Warangal Lok Sabha seat by-polls. Meanwhile TRS convened a meeting to select candidate for the by-poll. According to reports, the party leaders have shortlisted names of three persons and an official announcement would be made on October 27. November 4 is the last date for filing nominations for the polls.
