Rahul's TS visit put off to May 14, 15

Hyderabad, May 9: In view of the extension of the Parliament session, Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi's scheduled visit to Telangana on May 11 and 12 is reported to have been postponed to May 14 and 15, according to Congress party sources. The Leader of Opposition in Telangana Legislative Council Mohammed Ali Shabbir (Congress) is said to have quoted TS Pradesh Congress Committee president N Uttam Kumar Reddy on this issue. However, there will be no changes in the programme schedule, Shabbir said. Since the NDA government is taking up a discussion of the controversial Land Acquisition Bill, Rahul Gandhi had decided to postpone his visit and attend the Parliament to take part in the debate.
