Shocking Revelations in Merchant Navy Officer Murder Case

Sensational details have emerged in the high-profile murder case of Merchant Navy officer Saurabh Rajput (29), who was brutally killed by his wife Muskan Rastogi (27) along with her lover Sahil (25). The murder occurred when Saurabh returned from abroad to celebrate his daughter's birthday.
According to police reports, Sahil dismembered the body in the bathroom, separating the head and hands from the torso. The dismembered parts were put into bags, with plans to dispose of them in a remote area. Meanwhile, Muskan placed the torso in a bed box and slept on it throughout the night. Sahil kept the severed head and hands with him for several hours before they devised another plan.
The duo purchased a plastic drum and cement from a local market, placed Saurabh’s remains in the drum, and filled it with concrete and other debris to conceal the crime.
Police revealed that Muskan and Sahil had been friends since their school days and reconnected in 2019 through a WhatsApp group. This renewed connection led to an extramarital affair. As their relationship deepened to the point where they could not be apart, Muskan decided to eliminate her husband, who stood in their way.
Taking advantage of Saurabh’s return from London for their daughter’s birthday, Muskan and Sahil executed their plan. When Saurabh visited his parents and brought back food prepared by his mother, Muskan mixed sedatives into the dish under the pretext of reheating it. After Saurabh lost consciousness, Muskan and Sahil attacked him while he was sleeping and killed him in a gruesome manner.
