CID Issues Fresh Notices to Vijayasai Reddy Again

Former MP Vijayasai Reddy has received fresh notices from the CID in connection with allegations of illegal transfer of shares related to Kakinada Sea Port and SEZ. The CID had previously questioned Vijayasai Reddy once regarding this case. Now, officials have issued another notice summoning him for further questioning on March 25 at the Mangalagiri CID office.
Last Wednesday, Vijayasai Reddy was interrogated for nearly five hours at the Vijayawada CID office. During this session, officials had already indicated that he would need to appear for further questioning.
The case was registered based on a complaint by KV Rao, the head of Kakinada Sea Port Private Limited. Vijayasai Reddy, along with four others, has been named as an accused in the case, with Vijayasai Reddy listed as Accused No. 2 (A2).
