Revanth Reddy Confident of Winning Another Term as Telangana CM

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy expressed confidence that he would be re-elected as Chief Minister. Speaking informally to the media after the adjournment of the Legislative Council, he stated that while the people of Telangana voted against the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) in the previous elections, they would vote for the Congress this time with trust in its leadership. He assured that he would make every effort to uphold the confidence of the people.

Revanth Reddy reiterated that the Congress government would implement every promise it had made before approaching the people again. He stated that welfare scheme beneficiaries were the party’s core voters and emphasized that his administration was progressing based on hard work. He also asserted that the state’s future was more important than personal stature.

He reaffirmed that all electoral promises would be fulfilled, mentioning specifically that one crore women would benefit as pledged. Although they may not speak out now, he expressed confidence that they would ultimately vote for Congress. Additionally, he assured that pending payments for retired employees would be cleared soon. Revanth Reddy emphasized that the government's approach was to increase revenue and distribute it to the underprivileged.
