Perni Nani's Wife Jayasudha Issued Fresh Notices Over Missing Ration Rice
In connection with the disappearance of ration rice from a godown, former minister Perni Nani’s wife, Jayasudha, has been issued fresh notices. Initially, it was reported that 185 metric tonnes of rice were missing, prompting authorities to impose a penalty of ₹1.68 crore. Subsequent investigations revealed the disappearance of additional rice bags, bringing the total shortage to 378 metric tonnes.
In light of the increased shortfall, Krishna District Joint Collector Geetanjali Sharma has issued new notices to Jayasudha, demanding payment of an additional penalty of ₹1.67 crore.
