Game Changer Budget Is No Ordinary Feat: ₹75 Crore Spent on Five Songs

The anticipation for "Game Changer," the highly awaited film starring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani and directed by acclaimed filmmaker Shankar, has reached a fever pitch in Telugu states. With the movie set to release on January 10, the production team has intensified promotions to ensure a grand reception.

A remarkable detail about the movie has captured attention: an astounding ₹75 crore has been spent exclusively on the film's five songs. Each track has been crafted as a unique visual and musical spectacle, combining director Shankar's meticulous vision with lavish production efforts under producer Dil Raju's banner.

One of the standout songs, Jaragandi, was shot over eight days with 600 dancers on a 70-foot artificial hill designed to resemble a village. Renowned choreographer Prabhudeva added his flair to the sequence, which also featured eco-friendly costumes made from natural fibers by designers Ashwin and Rajesh. This is reportedly the first time such environmentally conscious attire has been used in an Indian film.

The movie’s introduction song for Ram Charan, Ra Machha Machha, choreographed by Bollywood’s Ganesh Acharya, is another visual treat. The track celebrates India's diverse folk dance traditions, including Gussadi (Telangana), Kommu Koya and Thappeta Gullu (Andhra Pradesh), Ghumra (Odisha), Goravara (Karnataka), Ranapa (Odisha), Palka (Jharkhand), Halakki (Karnataka), and Durua (Odisha). Over 1,000 folk dancers appear alongside Ram Charan, making this song a tribute to India's cultural heritage.

Another highlight of the film is the duet Nana Hairana, shot using infrared cameras in the scenic locales of New Zealand. This advanced technology helps capture unique color variations, adding a distinct aesthetic to every frame.

The techno-pop track DHOP has been designed to appeal to younger audiences. Filmed on three lavish sets at Ramoji Film City over eight days, the production included 100 Russian dancers flown in specifically for the sequence, demonstrating the team's commitment to international standards.

The fifth and final song remains under wraps as a surprise for theater audiences. According to the team, this track has been filmed against the stunning backdrop of the Godavari River and promises to be a visual delight.
