Mumbai HC issues summons to Rahul for comments on Gandhi assassination

Mumbai, March 10, 2015: Mumbai High Court on Tuesday issued summons to Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi in a case relating to comments he made about assassination of Mahatma Ganghi during an election meeting last year. Rahul Gandhi had commented that RSS was responsible for the assassination of the Father of the Nation. Based on a complaint from an RSS leader, a case was filed against him. The High Court asked him to attend the Bhivandi court on March 30 when hearing of the case will take place.
