Kiran, the son of media mogul Ramoji Rao, participated in a commemoration event for his father. The event was organized by the Andhra Pradesh government at Anumolu Gardens in Vijayawada, where Kiran delivered a speech. He expressed his gratitude to the Andhra Pradesh government for organizing the memorial event for his father.

He mentioned that his father, Ramoji Rao, always strived to protect democratic values and stood as a support for the people in times of trouble, ready to help in any disaster. Kiran emphasized that he is committed to public welfare, inspired by his father's spirit.

He revealed that it was his father who suggested the name 'Amaravati' for the new Andhra Pradesh capital and announced a donation of Rs. 10 crore for the construction of Amaravati. Kiran expressed his hope that Amaravati would develop into one of the greatest cities in the country.
