In the 2019 Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections, Nara Lokesh faced a defeat in the Mangalagiri constituency. Post-defeat, many advised him to consider a safer seat, similar to Kuppam, for future elections. However, Lokesh remarked that the people of Mangalagiri were like his own family and expressed his desire to develop the constituency into a model and top-ranked one in the country, which is why he continues to contest there, stated Nara Brahmani. She highlighted that over the past five years, despite no support from the government, Lokesh has been diligently involved and actively implemented 29 welfare schemes in Mangalagiri.

While campaigning in Mangalagiri, Brahmani engaged with local women. She credited the support provided by Lokesh as the reason she was able to conduct service programs through the Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital and Research Institute. She emphasized that Lokesh aims to extend the same support he provided her to all women in Mangalagiri, reflecting his vision for their empowerment.

Brahmani reminisced about their time managing responsibilities at the Heritage company, where both she and Lokesh ensured that rural women who produced milk day and night received a substantial income, enhancing their status in their villages and communities. She expressed deep satisfaction from seeing the impact of their efforts and stressed that any future initiatives must positively impact the women, ensuring they earn an income.

Expressing optimism, Brahmani stated that the satisfaction derived from the Sthree Shakti scheme exceeded their previous experiences, and she was pleased about formulating the initiative. She concluded by saying that Lokesh's vision was for all women in Mangalagiri to stand on their own feet.
