Amaravati: In a gathering organized at Pisinikada in Anakapalli district, Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy released the fourth round of funds for the YSR Cheyutha Scheme. By pressing a button, he transferred a sum of ₹5,060.49 crores directly into the bank accounts. A total of 26,98,931 women aged between 45 and 60 years received ₹18,750 each.

During the event, CM Jagan stated, "Through the Cheyutha scheme, we are providing ₹75,000 to every eligible woman. It is gratifying to provide financial support to these women on the eve of Women's Day." He emphasized that enhancing the financial empowerment of women has been a key goal of their governance over the last five years. CM Jagan explained that the fund distribution under the Cheyutha scheme would continue for the next 14 days.

He mentioned that the financial assistance being provided was a fulfillment of the promise made during his foot march, expressing pride in supporting the women, termed affectionately as "akkachellammalu" (sisters). The YSR Cheyutha scheme was launched by the Andhra Pradesh government on August 12, 2020. Over the previous three phases, each eligible woman has received a total of ₹56,250.
