Amaravati: Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, the advisor to the Andhra Pradesh government, stated that the YSRCP has become significantly stronger compared to the last elections. He participated in a Q&A session with several senior journalists, providing answers to their pointed questions.
During the 2019 elections, the people who deemed Chandrababu Naidu's performance as a failure placed their new hopes on Jagan, giving YSRCP a chance, he explained. Despite the continuation of the COVID-19 crisis over two years, Jagan's governance stood out as a trendsetter in the country with its focus on welfare, human resource development, education, and healthcare, covering essentials required by the common man, Sajjala elaborated. "That's why the CM says 'Why not 175'... and we are repeating it," he mentioned.
When asked by a journalist about Janasena party chief Pawan Kalyan's strength or weakness, Sajjala questioned the necessity of evaluating Pawan's strength. The journalist then rephrased the question, asking why Pawan is being targeted if not considered strong.
Responding, Sajjala criticized that Pawan's stance seems to benefit Chandrababu and lacks a personal agenda, merely reading the script given by Chandrababu, which is why Pawan is being targeted more.
Speaking about YS Sharmila, Sajjala remarked that it would be valid for people to question the fairness towards them. However, he questioned the appropriateness of Chandrababu raising such an issue, criticizing Chandrababu for echoing Sharmila's words as if they were sweet nothings. Sajjala opined that a senior leader like Chandrababu need not engage in such talk.
