Case on Allu Arjun for misleading ad endorsement
Hyderabad, June 10: A case was filed on Pan India actor Allu Arjun over endorsing an advertisement for an educational institution.
Allu Arjun promoted an advertisement of Sri Chaitanya Educational Institutions on June 6 about the rankers of IIT and NIT of the institution.
Social activist Kotha Upender Reddy alleged that this advertisement is misleading and gave wrong information. He demanded action against such wrong ads. He booked a case on Allu Arjun for acting in the advertisement and against Sri Chaitanya Educational Institutions for giving false information, with Ambarpet police. He demanded stringent action to be taken against actor Allu Arjun and Sri Chaitanya Educational Institutions for misleading the public.
After Pushpa movie block buster success, demand for Allu Arjun increased immensely. It increased his brand value and several companies made him as their brand ambassador.
It should be reminded here that Allu Arjun already faced controversies for endorsing zomato and rapido advertisements.
