Rahul Gandhi attending Kaka funeral

Hyderabad, Dec 23, 2014: AICC Vice-president Rahul Gandhi is arriving in Hyderabad later today to attend the funeral of Congress veteran G. Venkata Swamy who passed away last night at Care Hospital. Venkataswamy, also known as Kaka, will be cremated at Panjagutta burial ground and some senior Congress leaders from Delhi are also expected to attend the funeral, along with Rahul Gandhi. Congress sources said a special flight carrying Rahul Gandhi will arrive here around 3 PM. Meanwhile, Telangana PCC chief Ponnala Lakshmaiah has demanded the state government to take steps to erect Kaka Ghat on Necklace Road in Hyderabad.
