AP CM Jagan gets invite to attend celestial wedding of Lord Rama and Sita at Ontimitta
Amaravati: Elaborate arrangements have been made at Kodandarama Swamy temple at Onimitta in Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh to celebrate Sri Rama Navami. The temple decked up to perform the celestial wedding of Lord Sri Rama and Sita on the occasion.
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) will be orgnaising 'Ankurarpanam' fete on April 9 for the annual Sri Ramanavami Brahmotsavam at the temple. The festivities will be conducted from April 10 to 18.
Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy was invited on Friday to attend the celestial wedding of Lord Sri Rama and Sita, which will be celebrated on the occasion of Sri Rama Navami. Tirumla Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Executive Officer Jawahar Reddy and Ontimitta Ramalayam Executive Officer Ramana Prasad, who came to the Chief Minister's camp office in Tadepalli, handed over the invitation letter to the Chief Minister.
It may be recalled that after the bifurcation of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh into two states, Telangana Chief Minister was attending the celestial wedding of Lord Rama and Sita at Bhadradri in Telangana. While the Andhra Pradesh government was officially celebrating the Sri Rama Navami at Ontimitta in Kadapa district.
