AP JAC condemns attack on Warangal Judge
The Lawyers Joint Action Committee in Andhra Pradesh on Thursday questioned Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao as to what happened to his assurance to give protection to the people of the Andhra region in his State. They were referring to the beating up of a Judge of the Andhra origin in Warangal. They said the attack on a judge was not fair. They condemned the incident. The JAC pointed out that there was a set procedure for the division of High Court between two States. The Andhra Deputy Chief Minister, K.E. Krishnamurthy, said earlier that the High Court division was in the Central list. Land had been allocated for the setting up of a High Court in Amaravati. It was for the Centre to release the funds.
