Pedalling Padma reaches Vijayawada CTO from Hyderabad

The girl on the bicycle pedalled her way to the Andhra capital of Amaravati from Hyderabad following the call to the AP government staff to report in the new Secretariat by June 27. The Assistant Commercial Tax Officer, Padma, reached her office in Vijayawada on Wednesday morning after starting from Nampally in Hyderabad last Saturday. She reported to work this monrning amidst clapping and cheering by her fellow-staff. Ministers Devineni Uma and Sidda Raghavarao were there to receive her. Talking to the jubilant staff, Padma said there was total security for women staff in Amaravati. She was pleased with the facilities being provided by the government. She promised to the ministers and the staff that they would put Navyandhra on the path of growth.
