Cleanliness way to create Swarna Andhra Pradesh

The State government is working with an objective of ensuring universal access to sanitation to all citizens of Swarna Andhra Pradesh. One of the key interventions is to mobilize financial and intellectual capital from corporates, HNIs (high net worth individuals) and voluntary organizations. It is proposed to establish Swachh Andhra Pradesh Kosh (on the lines of Swachh Bharat Kosh) for effective and transparent fund management. A high-profile launch event is planned in August/September in Vijayawada. A preparatory meeting is scheduled to be held at 11 am on June 13 in Committee Hall 3, Assembly Building, under the Chairpersonship of Dr Kodela Siva Prasadarao, Speaker and convener of Swachh Andhra Pradesh. The meeting would discuss the following issues: Modalities for creating a State-level sanitation fund; immediate focus areas, projects and sub-projects; processes for establishing robust ICT (information and communication technology) platform to showcase projects for funding and their monitoring and tracking by donors and act as a transaction portal for donations; ideas to develop transparent reporting and monitoring systems to ensure that donors can view assets created and their usage on a regular basis; preparatory activities, partners, indicative agenda and potential invitees for the event in Vijayawada.
