Trying for IIM at Warangal : Dy CM

Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari said that they are trying to establish Indian Institute of Management (IIM), which will be sanctioned to Telangana, in Warangal district. Speaking to reporters on Sunday, he said that he would soon hold a meeting with Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao to discuss the same. There are 19 IIMs across the country and these institutes are considered as premium institutes for offering management education. After the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, one IIM was allotted to residuary state and it was established at Visakhapatnam.
