Padma award overwhelms Priyanka Chopra

Hollywood-Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra took time off `Baywatch' in Los Angeles to receive the national recognition of Padmasree from the hands of President Pranab Mukherjee in Rashtrapati Bhavan on Tuesday. Talking to the media after the ceremony, Priyanka said she was very proud to receive the award. It was the best award in her life. The honour and recognition have overwhelmed her. The tall, slim star is making waves in Hollywood and the US. She is among the invitees to the dinner in White House with the outgoing President Barack Obama. She was in a golden yellow sari with pink border as she received the award from the President.
