Farmer throws chappal at Kadiyam Srihari, detained

Hyderabad, Nov 6: A farmer identified as Sailu today threw a chappal at Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari while he was speaking at an election rally in Sayampet in Warangal district. Police immediately took the farmer into custody. Kariyam Srihari was accompanied by minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy. The members of Rajya Sabha Gundu Sudha Rani, who recently joined Telangana Rashtra Samiti after quitting Telugu Desam Party, was also present at te rally.
