Rahul Anantapur tour: Chandra Dandu members arrested

Anantapur/Hyderabad, July 24: The Anantapur police on Friday have taken Chandra Dandu members into custody, who reportedly came to obstruct AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi's Anantapur tour. Led by Chandra Dandu state vice-president Ansar Ahmed, about 20 members came to Chilamattur check post and the police arrested them and shifted them to a police station. The police also took TDP activists who protested at Kodikonda check post and raised slogans like 'Rahul go back'. They tried to stop Rahul's convoy. Rahul Gandhi reached Kodikonda from Bengaluru on Friday morning to take up padayatra in the district.
