Japan keen to invest in AP: Chandrababu

Delhi, July 10: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has termed his Japan tour as a success. Speaking to the media here today, Chandrababu said that he explained the Japanese industrialists about investment opportunities in the State. The CM said that Japan government and various other Multi-National Companies (MNCs) evinced interest to help in capital city construction and to establish industries. He said that Asian Development Bank (ADB) prepared a report on Visakhapatnam-Chennai corridor. Government is devising plans to develop Amaravathi as a financial hub, he added. Naidu informed that Japanese industrialists came forward to invest in food processing, infrastructure, ports and petroleum sectors. The Japanese companies also assured to take up various social service activities in the State as a part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
