Chandrababu meets Fuji, Mitsubishi officials

Tokyo/Hyderabad, July 6: AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today met with the representatives of Fuji Electric Company and Mitsubishi Corporation at Tokyo. Chandrababu was on a three-day tour in Japan. It is already known that Fuji company had started construction of 'smart grid' under pilot project, in Vijayawada. The AP government allotted land for this purpose. The company representatives explained about the developments of the project that was taken up last November to the AP CM team. The Fuji company would also take up the main project in Amaravati, the capital city of Andhra Pradesh. On the other hand, Chandrababu also met with Mitsubishi corporation officials. The company would establish information research centre in Visakhapatnam. The company is gearing up to take up village development programme in Krishna district. The Mitsubishi company expressed its willingness to set up a cluster in Krishnapatnam. Responding to the company's request, Chandrababu agreed to construct road for their company at Tuni in East Godavari district within 100 days.
