Bhatkal is not using mobile in prison: DIG
Hyderabad, July 4: DIG A Narasimha has said that dreaded terrorist and former head of Indian Mujahideen, Yasin Bhatkal is not using mobile phone in prison. Speaking to the media after inspecting Cherlapally jail here, the DIG said that Yasin Bhatkal is lodged in the prison since November, 2014. Narasimha said that the jail inmates can use the landline to call their family members and added, that the Bhatkal was not even allowed to use landline. He informed that jail authorities allowed Bhatkal to speak to their family members over landline for five minutes two times a week as per the directives of Metropolitan Court. Bhatal used landline phone 27 times. Bhatkal reportedly spoke in Urdu and Arabic languages with his family members and as per norms all his calls were recorded.
