Moderate quake jolts Japan
Tokyo, May 25, 2015: A moderate quake of 5.6 magnitude on the Richter scale jolted the metropolitan area of Japan's capital city of Tokyo on Monday. According to Japan's Meteorological Agency, the epicentre was initially detected at 36.1 degrees north latitude and 139.6 degrees east longitude, with a depth of 50 km, Xinhua news agency reported. Subway and bullet train services were suspended briefly following the tremor. There were no immediate reports on damage and injuries.
