AP govt appoints panel for identifying lands to provide plots to urban middle class
The AP government has appointed a committee for identifying government lands in and around towns and cities to provide plots with clear titles to the urban middle class for affordable prices. The panel will submit its report to the state government on or before January 21.
The committee was asked to consider government lands falling under urban development authorities apart from towns and cities for land acquisition. The YSRCP government will take a decision on developing layouts and allocation of plots based on the availability of government lands near towns and cities.
